Primary Classroom – Ages 3 through 6
Solebury Montessori School is a multi-age, one room school for children ages 3 through 6, preschool through kindergarten. There are 20 students in the classroom at one time with two Montessori certified teachers.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten is the culmination of the primary cycle. Our kindergarten students spend part of the day in the mixed age group, and are then grouped with their peers for lessons and collaboration.
The Kindergarten program includes:
- Character Education
- Handwriting
- Language Arts
- Mathematics
- Science
- Geography
- Spanish
- Health and Safety
- Physical Education
- Art, Music, and Drama
School Year
The academic school year is 10 month term from September through June, and consists of a fall and spring semester.
All students attend 5 days per week and have the option of choosing the half-day or full-day schedule.
Morning Session 8:30 to 1:00
Full Day 8:30 to 3:00
Summer Camp
A two week summer camp in August is offered to currently enrolled and returning students.
